If your existing aluminium frames are in good condition but your windows are single-glazed, retrofit double glazing may be the most cost-effective solution.
We fit a second pane of glass into your existing frame — converting single-glazed windows to double-glazed without replacing the entire unit. The result is a warmer, quieter home at a fraction of the cost of full replacement.
All retrofit glazing uses Metro Glass IGUs, backed by a 10-year warranty.

Insert windows, also known as chair windows are designed to fit inside an existing frame opening without removing the original frame or disturbing the surrounding walls and interior linings.
This makes them ideal for replacing timber-framed windows in older homes. The process is cleaner, faster, and less disruptive than a full frame-out replacement — and the end result is a modern, double-glazed window that performs properly.
