About the style
An Edwardian conservatory has a square or rectangular footprint under a hipped roof that slopes back on three sides. With no angled corners, every square metre is usable: it is the most practical of the traditional styles.
Its flat front and symmetrical roof give it a calm, balanced look that suits almost any house, from weatherboard villas to modern brick homes. It is the style to choose when the room has to work hard, as a dining room, a family lounge, a play room or a home office.
The Edwardian shape at a glance. Every Pro Conservatory is designed around its home, so yours can differ.
Why choose it
Straight walls and square corners make it easy to furnish and to fit a full dining table.
The hipped glass roof rises to a central ridge and brings in light from three directions.
Its simple, symmetrical shape sits comfortably against most styles of house.
Easy to make longer or wider, or to join to a lean-to in an L or T shape.
